Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer this picture of the horse fair in my town like my fourth anniversary celebration on this site (TE), expose it to a day late because I spent the weekend on a beach Cadiz and yesterday I had a pleasant visit of our loving Malgorzata (Emka), stayed all day we walking through my city and visiting some sights, overall I've been pretty busy and I could spend some time with you, but I'm back, I hope you like it this picture of a horse to the fair enjaesado, I want to permitais dedicarcela Malgo for their sympathy, then some letters on my fair city.

The Horse Fair is a fair held every May in Jerez de la Frontera (Andalusia, Spain).
Declared of International Tourist Interest by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, it comes along with Easter one of the largest and most important festival in the city.

Arose from the equine trade in the Middle Ages, in which farmers were met to close deals.
A document with the September 13, 1481 and specified the location of the origins of the show: from the Puerta del Real to Calle Francos, including the Plaza de la Yerba.
Current fair born of the union of the cattle fair of Dehesa de Caulina and fun fair open to the public in 1903.
For many years of the twentieth century was one of the two fairs held in Jerez next to the Harvest Fair in September, currently held under another format.

Current Exhibition:
The Horse Fair is held one week after the April Fair held in Seville (which itself held depending on Easter) and before the Rocío Pilgrimage. During the holidays and weekdays (the show usually lasts for seven days, though the latter has lasted nine years to incorporate the previous weekend) parade horses and their riders, as before, are still sold. Throughout the week, only during the day, there is a big parade of carriages by the central streets.
Fair currently being held in the Parque González Hontoria, a park that combines large landscaped areas albero parties. The main gate of the park is used as the cover of the Fair.

The Fair now has over 250 booths, each with its own particular atmosphere and culinary specialties
Most of the booths competing in pageants best cover and best decoration.
Typical Fair Jerez drinks are fragrant and fine wine, the less purists like to mix the latter with soda lime combination known as rebujito.
The most common daytime dress in costume Fair is short, if mounted on horseback, and tight (or flamenco dress) for women, and label media overnight.
The cuisine is varied, but focusing on fried fish and typical dishes such as oxtail, the esparragás tagarninas, menudo, Jerez cabbage and of course the best seafood and pork.

The booths are all different, and often made of material (no curtains, as in other fairs environment). Their management groups in the city (companies, guilds, associations, etc.), who use it for funding by direct exploitation or giving this a professional in charge.

After the ban on Mayor Pedro Pacheco of existence in the Real de la Feria private booths, the legendary booth González Byass was demolished and the rest of the booths have become public, providing fun for all persons who are not area.

Design Contest. Unlike most shows, maintaining a uniform design of all their huts, the Horse Fair allows each house has a different design. Furthermore, the city council takes several contests booths in each issue: best shed company, shed improvement association, best corner booth (the difficulty of decorating two flanks, etc.).

Senior Citizen Day. In recent editions on Monday is set aside as a day of discounts are retired and on attractions for older people to take their grandchildren to them. Likewise, the attractions are half Monday. Also on Wednesday is set aside as a day for women.

Gay-Friendly Fair. On the open and popular character, the Horse Fair was the first fairs in Andalucia in having a booth explicitly LGBT.
