Photographer's Note

Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer this last picture of the horse fair in my city, stroll through the fair carriage is a tradition that many still practice, this is a nice proof of this, I hope you like it, then a lyrics to understand what is the fair.

The Horse Fair is a fair held each May in Jerez de la Frontera (Andalusia, Spain).
International Tourist Interest by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, it comes along with Easter one of the largest and most important festival in the city.

It arose from equine trade in the Middle Ages, in which farmers gathered to close deals.
A document with the September 13, 1481 and specify the location of the origins of the show: from the Puerta del Real to Calle Francos, including the Plaza de la Yerba.

The current fair born of the union of the cattle fair Dehesa de Caulina and fun fair open to the public in 1903.
For many years of the twentieth century was one of the two fairs that were held in Jerez next to the Harvest Fair in September, currently held under another format.

The Horse Fair is held held week after the April Fair in Seville (which in turn is held depending on Easter) and before the Rocío Pilgrimage. During the holidays and weekdays, (the show usually has a duration of seven days, although in recent years has gone on to incorporate nine previous weekend) parade horses with their riders, as before, are still sold. Throughout the week, only during the day, there is a big parade of carriages by the central streets.
The Fair currently being held in Hontoria Gonzalez Park, a park that combines albero with large areas of garden parties. The main gate of the park is used as the cover of the Fair.

The Fair now has over 250 booths, each with its special atmosphere and culinary specialties
Most of the booths competing in pageants best cover and best decoration.
Typical Drinks Fair Jerez are fragrant and fine wine, the less purists like to mix the latter with soda lime, known as rebujito combination.
The most usual daytime attire Fair is the short dress, if mounted on horseback, and tight (or flamenco dress) for women, and label media overnight.
The cuisine is varied, but focusing on fried fish and stews, such as oxtail, the thistles esparragás, menudo, cabbage Jerez and of course the best seafood and pork.
The booths are all different, and often made of material (no curtains, as in other fairs of the environment). Handle their management groups in the city (companies, guilds, associations, etc.), who use it for funding either through direct use or giving this to a professional.
