Photographer's Note

Flying to Tenerife from Bologna, we flew along the north mediterranean coast. In this picture the plane is flying south-west, passing south of the Gibraltar Strait. We were actually above Morocco. Up on the right corner you can see the Gibraltar Rock and port; lower, right near the window frame, is Ceuta, the Spain's enclave in Africa.

Technical: the polarizer made funny colours with the plastics of the window, so I avoided it. In postprocessing I increased contrast in several ways, including a gradual alpha-mask to increase the contrast on the upper part of the picture without exceeding in the lower part.
