Photographer's Note

The village of Nijar, nestled in the mountainside near Almeria, southern Spain. The buildings in the village are beautiful and reminiscent of times gone by, so i thought putting this photo up in sepia might convey this feeling!

The village itself is incredibly sleepy and laid back, a welcome relief to the craziness of living near to London, UK. I like the mixture of nature and human activity in this photo; the mountains looming behind the village keep it near to its rural roots.
