Kranj Gymnasium

This is one of my first experiments with night time picture. Photographed here is the Old Gymnasium in the city of Kranj, one of the prides of this small city architecture. The colour balance is real, tripod is not used. There is a story about this gymnasium:

It was build in 1897 and finished in 1903 with plans made by the architect Wilhelma Tre. It has 33 classrooms, 2 gyms , 2 conference halls and can accomodate 1012 students. It is not only by far the greatest in Kranj, but also one of the biggest in Slovenia. Located in the center of the town it is one of the building by which the city of Kranj is best recognized.

hej hej, koga to vidm po dolgem casu ???
lepo ujet moment z dolgo expoicijo je še boljše. Tudi brez avta bi bilo lepo. Nisem vedel da tvoja Minolta ima iso manjši od 100.

Nice to see you are back!
Very special colour they have chosen to lit this building. Good angle, nice architecture. But it's the colours that make this one. Violet of floodlights, greenis streetlamps and brownish tone on the street. Plus the stripes of car lights.

hola, con el color que tiene toda la arquitectura es suficiente para mostrar algo diferente, creo que le resto importancia las luces movviles, saludos.
