The Fifth Element

Nature is something we should all bow to. Men (and women) created beautiful works of art (some of them are on TE for sure), but most of those work of art come with inspiration from nature. The four elements known to all civilisations are water, earth, air and fire. You may ask where is the fire here? A glimpse of it you can see between the branches and through the clouds. I choose the branches to show the Fifth element(not Mila Jovović) and that is life.

ja prav imas, narava je res krasna te res napolni z energijo in inspiracijo. Tudi tu je kompozicija krasna, lepe skoraj srebrne barve. Bi bilo pa zanimivo videt Milo Jovovic na drevesu ;))

Prekrasna slika. Odlicna kompozicija i svetlo. Svidjs mi se detalj sunca koje se nazire kroz krosnju drveta.

Hi Aleks,

A simple but powerful composition accompanied by an excellent note. Yes, all five elements for a good shot are here, but nothing would come out of them without the sixth element, the photographer himself.

I like this picture through the three different parts in this picture, the imments sky in background, great composition with the sunlight hidden by the tree about this silver lake, also the tree in corner make you picture lovely.

A very moody description of the Slovenian landscape..!
I like the colour tones, and the silvery shimmer on the suface of the lake is gives a wonderful effect...
Pleasant composition and well framed, good idea to use the branch to cover the sun!

A lovely framing and beautiful light. The colour is just right to convey this atmosphere. The reflections of the shimmering water are nice and the crispness of the image reveals many details. Nice, and subtle work.
