Photographer's Note

1000m high sea

In the middle of november in Slovenia and most of the alps region was a phenomena called "temperature inversion". You had to climb above 1000m in order to see the sun. We went to a place called Krvavec, seen before on some older pictures. We were lucky enough to be able to use the car to climb up. Snow fell the next day. Taken from 1500m above sea level, this picture shows in front the mountain of Storzic at 2100m, which travellers see when going to Austria after passing the town of Kranj. In the far back on the left one can see the tallest mountain of Slovenia called Triglav, at 2864m.
The fog dissapeared the next day, but photographs from this day stayed in my camera and now you can see them on TE.
