Photographer's Note
Mt. Razor - one of the Kings of East Julian Alps - taken from Zadnja Trenta valley about 20 km north of Bovec. Here is the center of the Paradise! Particularly during winter periods when the road over Vrsic pass is closed due to snow. In total solitude, original inhabitants left the valley long time ago, I am participating in natural performance of parting winter day.
Scanned by Nikon CoolScan IV-ED. Cropped, resampled, curves. Sky masked off. The rest sharpened using Unsharp mask level 56, 2 pix radius.

What an outstanding colour Amadej, the colour itself is worthy of admiration. It gives the feeling of both warmth and cold, this makes sunsets in the mountains so captivating.
I think I would like to see something else in the foreground however, maybe a big silhouette of a tree. I am a great admirer of your work, glad to see you back here!

Most unusual and beautiful coloring. The warmth of the rosy light is so unexpected in a winter scene. A beautiful place on earth.
Well done.

Beautiful shot, I love the Apenglow. The picture is really awesome the way it is but a run through NeatImage to reduce the noise in the sky is a subtle improvement. My favorite part of this picture if I had to pick one is the glow penitrating through the trees on the ridge to the right. Nice job.
