Another Bled classic

Today I share another panorama with TE.
For those who visited Lake Bled, this island is something very striking. In fact, even though Slovenia has also an exit to the Adriatic Sea, it has no natural islands, except only this one on Lake Bled. Since lake Bled itself is not very big (I walked around it in 1 hour), the island is very very small.
You can swim to it, it's just 300m to the shore.
It has 99 steps to the top of the island.
On the top of the island you find a 900-year old church that was the seat of Tyrolean bishops for eight centuries.
If you're not fond of swimming or if it's too cold, you can catch one of the boats called "Pletna", typical for Bled, which can guide you to the island. There were two of them at the time I visited the lake.
Once there on the island, you can walk around it in few minutes. You can sit and relax, eat and drink something.
Enjoy the large view,
