Today died great Polish artist - poet, composer and performer - Marek Grechuta. This is my little tribute for Him. Part of His famous song above.

the tree colours are fantastic, dozens of different tones of yellow, brown and green, and the streets is well captured with a great perspective.

Hi Mat,
What a rich pallette of fall colours you have captured. The lighting and shadow effects are effective, and I like how the road curves to take the eye inward. Pristine. I can smell the clear crisp air...life renewed, despite the dying leaves.

Good afternoon Matt -

What can I say other than WOW!! This is a beautiful image, the colors of fall mixed with the green of summer under late afternoon light. The curving road leads the eye into the image and in my case makes me wonder whats around the bend. Composition, exposure, DOF, etc, etc are spot on. Wow!

Sorry I do not know the artist but I think your great photo is a good tribute.
Excellent composition with the grey ccurvy road and the strong white line.Maybe we can see the end of our days in the dark distance.But the wonderful autumn colors and the little part of strong blue sky show life.
A verry good and thoughtful composition.

Great lighting here Mat. I like the shadows across the road. The curve of the painted line is very aesthetically pleasing and draws our attention to the nice autumn leaves. This is a beautiful tribute.

Although I don't know about this artist, I have been impressed by your illustration. The symbolism of this road with the curve where you cannot see behind and the choosing of autumn for being the last season of life are really good and full of poetry.
Taken into account that the quality of your image is very good, you achieved a great tribute to the memory of this artist.

Hello Mat! You have some nice fall colors here too! Nice use of the shadows of the trees on the road as a compositional element. The position of the white curving line of the road is just perfect.

A fantastic fall shot. Looking at the upper part of the picture you'd be forgiven for thinking that you're in the middle of a forest but the road obviously destroys that illusion. IMO this makes for a great contrast between urbanity and nature.

czesc Mat, smutne to ze odszedl ktos taki, ale pozostalo po nim tyle pieknych slow ze nie trzeba sie matrwic o to ze bedzie zapomniany. pozegnanie zdjeciem- bardzo cieple, jesli ku takim kolorom po smierci pojdziemy...atwiej to zniesc.pieknie, symbolicznie pokazales droge za ktorej zakretem jest ta niewiadoma nad ktora wszyscy sie czasami zastanawiamy.
