Photographer's Note

Inspired by some recent posts here on TE (guess which :)).

From the Danube source in Germany down to the Black Sea it is about 1.800 miles. The Danube flows through ten countries along this route today. As a cyclist, you will most probably be interested in the Danube's course through Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. The paths here are much more developed than along the river further down. The Austrian Danube is possibly the most famous cycle route in Europe. Most of its travelers cycle downstream, starting in or near Passau to Vienna end then further to Bratislava.
It must be nice trip, I saw many groups of bikers in Wachau valley. But unfortunately, I do not ride a bike :(.
I saw these bikers resting at the blue Danube near Devin castle, close to the Austrian-Slovak border.

Big photo in beta.
