Photographer's Note

There are remnants of an medieval church in Ledinci, at the small plateau on the slopes of the hill (see map), where todayís weekend-village Klisa is. Little is known about it. Itís called the St. Georgeís Church, and its colloquial name is the Tower of Ledinci, named after the tall bell tower that can be seen from the bottom of the hill. Story has it that thatís where the Savinac monastery used to be, which was dedicated to St. Sava, but it was lost after the turkish conquest. Is the Tower of Ledinci actually the Savinac monastery, or the Church of St. Prokopije, it cannot be confirmed based on just the historic scriptures.
According to what I found, the Orthodox Church believes that it is a monastery, which has begun to be renovated.
