Photographer's Note

The first city on my trip was Belgrade.

I was very curious about it because during the Communist era it was considered the most Occidental city of the East. Nowadays is a mix of old, modern and strong Communist roots. It looks very grey and frowzy and very few things to visit. The good think is that the people are very friendly and the food is great. Also decent prices, like in Bucharest. We had a nice time there so it's a fine stop for anybody is curious about that place.
The think that bothered me most was after crossing the Danube to Serbia, the former Yugoslavian flag with the red star and the name Tito was made as a monument on a hill... I don't understand their affiliation to the Communism but it's nice to see how your neighbors are :P
