Une des plus grande eglise orthodoxe encore debout a Prizren "Ujesjellesi Cvileni". etant classe au patrimoine de l Unesco celle ci est interdite au publique et est sous protection militaire permanente de l armee allemande.

One of the bigger orthodoxe church still safe in Prizren. It s closed for public and under german military protection.

The inclusion of the minaret of the mosque in the background eloquently tells the story of the complex ethnic make-up of this troubled region.
The political dimension is impossible to escape here, and it's sad that the Kosovan Serbs and their places of worship have to live under foreign military protection, but perhaps understandable in view of the events of recent years. From being oppressed, the Albanian majority have in turn become the oppressors; a classic case of the worm turning.

Très belle églsie lec couelur jaune du sommet sont douces et agréables, très beau cadrage et l'effet de fil barbelé est étonnant.

Bonsoir claude,
cette photo vaut plus par la note qu'en elle-même. Elle est bien réalisée mais le cadrage est trop parcellaire. Mais c'est bien de témoigner de la folie des hommes, bref de nous...

This is a beautiful picture of Orthodox Ctahedral in Prizren which has been burned to the ground by Albanians in 1999, finally being reconstructed. Unfortunately this is the picture of sad reality in Kosovo nowdays.

An absolutely stunning and evocative piece claude ...the church .. the distant minaret ... and of course the wire .. I really don't have words for it .. profound is perhaps the closest.

My heart is hurting, when I see that photo and think about what´s happening to my fellow serbs in Kosovo.
