Duboko oranje krajem Novembra.

Pogled na izoranu njivu krajem Novembra u selu Isakovu, Opstina Cuprija.
Razlozi zbog kojih treba izvoditi jesenje duboko oranje su mnogobrojni, a ovde ce biti pomenuti samo neki od njih.
– Sakupljanje vecih kolicina vlage u zemljistu. Sakupljena vlaga u dubokom rastresitom sloju ornice dobro se cuva, ne otice i ne isparava. Nakupljena vlaga stoji biljkama na raspolaganju u toku proleca i leta kada nema dovoljno redovnih padavina. Zato je jesenje oranje jedna od efikasnih mera u borbi protiv suse.
– Obezbedjuje se povoljno fizicko stanje zemljista za jare useve. Povrsinski sloj zemljista pooranog u jesen sadrzi manje vlage, brze se susi i zagreva sto omogucava raniju predsetvenu pripremu u odnosu na nepoorano zemljiste.
– Zemljiste koje je duboko poorano poboljsava strukturu pod uticajem zimskih mrazeva. Uzorane grudvice nakvasene u toku jeseni usled smrzavanja i topljenja vode raspadaju se u sitne grudvice.
Zato se u narodu kaze da je mraz najbolji orac.

There are many reasons why deep plowing should be performed in the fall, and only some of them will be mentioned here.
- Collection of larger amounts of moisture in the soil. The collected moisture in the deep loose layer of arable land is well preserved, does not swell and does not evaporate. Accumulated moisture is available to plants during spring and summer when there is not enough regular rainfall. That is why autumn plowing is one of the effective measures in the fight against drought.
- Favorable physical condition of the land for spring crops is provided. The surface layer of the soil plowed in the fall contains less moisture, dries and heats faster, which enables earlier pre-sowing preparation in relation to unploughed soil.
- Soil that is deeply plowed improves the structure under the influence of winter frosts. Patterned lumps soaked during the fall due to freezing and melting of water disintegrate into small lumps.
That is why people say that frost is the best plowing.
