Fisherman

This is taken on Ada Ciganlija, artificial island created on river Sava just before it runs into Danube in Belgrade. People of this big city usually go there to swim in the summer and to ride the bicycle or rollerblades when it's not winter. And some people go fishing in any other time like this fellow. I like to go there to take some photos. I hope he cought something...

Simple shot that speaks volume to anyone who hold a fishing rod in his life.I keep thinking about thoses times shared with friends when i was young,not anymore as I like moving in my free time,too much sitting at the office.
A well presented shot,the man seems suspended
and we have a good look at his equipment.

Lepa čista kompozicija.Všeč so mi trave v vodi,ki jih opaziš komaj,ko malo bolje pogledaš.Zelo zanimiv kot pogleda.Mož sedi tako na robu.Upam,da so deske zdržale.

Hi Aleks,
A simple compo, with a pleasant diagonal line. The yellow buicket is a good detail to add a touch of bright colour. This fellow looks rather bored and it seems that he hasn't really been lucky so far! ;o)

very well captured clear shot of this fishing man. Very good diagonal perspective, perfect sharpness, well managed light and nice and natural colours. Very nice photo of a calm and pleasant atmosphere.

Looking at the guy's expression there does not seem to be the hell of an action here... I like the idea but find your framing a bit too tight and centered, I would rather have seen the guy placed closer to the upper left strong point in a wider framing.

Hi Aleks,
I tried shooting fishermen a couple of times without much success. This is different. He seems to be hanging on the air. I like water plants giving some green colour to water. A good decision to cut the rod to get closer to the fisherman.

Nice idea for take these fishermen, maybe a little bit dangerous for the man, maybe he will also swimming near the fish!!!

Super si "uhvatio" ovoga pecarosa. Samo sam zabrinut dali je ostao do kraja na mestu ako se uzme u obzir njegova kilaza. Odlicno "odseceno", kompozicija i ostro.

This fisherman looks a little fed up. Looks like his catch has been disappointing. Still the shot is great and the fact that he is near the end of the platform adds a nice balance to the scene. The colour and texture of the water also accentuates the tones in the picture. Well taken.

Hi Aleks - this is superb - this sense of dangling in space - the triangles - the pull of the primary colours - the surface textures also really stand out in this image - there is such humour too as this structure appears to bend beneath his weight - a really well caught visual joke......man your photography has come on so much....it is always slow for us to see it for ourselves but I think it is true......

Zanimljiva kompozicija u kojoj ribič koji sjedi na kutu ovog drvenog mula nekako prirodno dolazi u centar pažnje. Očit nesklad između njegove krupnoće i fragilne drvene konstrukcije, ali vjerojatno on dobro zna koje mu je mjesto najbolje za kakav ulov :)
