Photographer's Note
Each 15 August the Romanian Navy celebrates its patron saint: the Holy Virgin Mary. The photo was taken during the preparations, off the coast from Constanta.
Obviously the title is an exageration. The ships in the photos are frigates, not battleships. The first two from left to right are the two Type 22 frigates bought by Romania from the Royal Navy (the former HMS Coventry and HMS London): Regele Ferdinand and Regina Maria (named after two WWII Romanian destroyers). The other two are Romanian-built Tetal II light frigates.
