Photos

This was a building which I found appealing, especially in the warm colors of the sunset, which I noticed walking on Calea Victoriei (Victoriei Way), close to Piata Victoriei (Victoriei Sq.), in the center of Bucharest. If I'm not wrong, this is a building from the art-deco period. During the 1930s and 40s the city of Bucharest reached a period of prosperity and experienced a boom in development, many new impressive art-deco style buildings being errected. Many such examples can be found throughout Bucharest, especially around Victoriei Way and Nicolae Balcescu Boulevard.
