Photographer's Note

Ever wondered what happened if someone took care to accurately reproduce an architecture student's first model to scale and build something just like it,from the daring shapes to the ..little failures in the modelling art such as slightly misaligned or not-quite-glued-together shims? Well you'd get this. And we did. This is..real, a building 8 years in the making looking like a bad diorama. The Emergency Response Center somehow (?) connected, they say, to the Fire Brigade.
I kind of like it though, especially the color. I want a Fender Telecaster in those two colors, sea-foam green and off-white...
This is another shot from my trusty D100.A fine day and the "street sweeper" is out again (the much maligned 24-120 zoom ). Against all rules and observations, it has an UV filter permanently stuck to it- for better or worse, it came with it in the pawn shop, was not scratched and removing it made some difference but not so much that I would renounce the protection it offers to this weird lens.
