Photographer's Note
Second version: In response to the the critique given I've sharpened quite a lot and cropped the dark part. I didn't do the cropping before because I thought the picture would loose proportion, but I agree that it's probably better this way.

Yes, much better :) You did well on the sharpening, nothing is overdone. This is worth the big smiley.

indeed quit a mood set in this image. i like the rain drops. they add a lot of interest. at first i though maybe they were large snow flakes. the patterns in the roof tiles are intregueing and my only nit might be the inclision of the ornament on the top of the spire. otherwise this is well composed and sets a very nice mood.
