The Beach of Baía dos Tiros, is located in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast in the province of Algarve, municipality of Aljezur
Cannot be considered a beach, for not having sand or hits, is a place with an extraordinary landscape completely wild and little known, being only frequented by fishermen who risk falling their cliffs.
Created in 1995, the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and vicentine coast, (PNSACV) is located in the southwest coast of Portugal, between São Torpes, in the municipality of Sines, Alentejo region and to praia de Burgau in Vila do Bispo in the Algarve region, in an extension of the Atlantic coast and 110 km of runs within 2 km of maritime zone parallel to the coast in a total area of 76000 hectares.
In the area of the Park are various types of natural and semi-natural habitats and landscapes, such as cliffs, cliffs and jagged, wild beaches, several islets and reefs, the estuary of the River Mira, Cape Sardão, the Cape St. Vincent, Sagres promontory, dunes, heaths, marshes, which are a wildlife sanctuary for many animal and plant species.
