Christmas Windows, a photo from Lisboa, South

Photographer's Note

Following my last post and the season spirit, I present another picture of Mafra National Palace or/and Convent with its wonderful Christmas illumination. Francisco (Xuaxo) had told me that 'Christmas Windows' would be a more apropriate title for my last post, so I'm following his sugestion and gave that title to this one that have more focus on those beautiful windows.

mais uma graciosa foto com todo o espírito natalino. Essa decoração de luz foi muito bem planejada, pois nos fornece um visual deslumbrante desse palácio. Gosto da perspectiva acentuada e o manejo de exposição. Parabéns!

This is by far my favoirte christmas photo i've seen on TE so far this season.
The mixture of the blue lights and lighter shadded blue, with the orange/yellow is superb.
Your choice of composing in the angle worked out very well.

Wow, that's lovely, there are almost no words to give justice to your photogarph. You did an excellent job with the tripod, these colors and contrasts are fantastic. Congrats Paulo, that is a master stroke.

Another beautiful image of this outstanding palace illuminated by so colourful Christmas lights. I like the pov you chose to take it showing its grandeur and creating a fine diagonal. Perfect light management and lovely colours. Really a good composition.

An another superb night's shot. POV and framing very well collected. The cars give here an interetsing element of dynamism. But I like especially the very good managment of light with the coloured light which arise in the black of the night.

Olá Paulo,
Cá está uma bela vista com essas janelinhas azuis. Ontem estive lá mas parece que os temporais têm dado cabo daquilo (vê minha foto de hoje). O máximo que vi foram as barras amarelas (nem todas como aqui) e as luzinhas brancas ao centro. Mas quando desisti ainda andavam operários de volta daquilo. As criancinhas não tiveram paciência de esperar mais.
