Photographer's Note

The Archaeological Site of Roman Ruins Roman Ruins is located in the parish of San Salvador (municipality of Guimar„es), a hillside San Roman. It was an important fortified settlement from the Iron Age, in Portugal, presenting a set of about 200 houses, nearly all circular, with about five meters in diameter. The villas are surrounded by a wall oval shapes in the NS direction measuring 250 meters and the sense EO 150 meters. In addition to housing, there are two main streets running through the village, which was also a kiln comprising hall, anteroom and a gallery and a furnace in a horseshoe shape. The settlement was inhabited in BC for a pre-Celtic people, who have known the peak in the century. III BC, the period before the Romans. The site was abandoned in the century. IV of our era.
