Castelo of Vide is a Portuguese town of the District of Portalegre, with next to 3200 inhabitants.

Castle of Vide bursts in a cool hill of the Mountain range of Is Mamede, among the dense bushes of olives and soutos. The village, already called " Sintra of the Alentejo" , it is an alive museum that concentrates secular relics of inolvidável beauty. In the center of the village it meets First Church of Saint Maria of the Devesa, is a greta temple, of the High Alentejo and meets in the extreme West of Square D. Peter V situated.

Capture done from the castle where it is possible to see the wide one panoramic on the town, and slightly further, on the top of the mountain it is possible to glimpse the nearby and nice town of Marvão.

I hope you like it, a big hug to all of you TE friends
