Photographer's Note

This is the Guadiana River, one of the longest rivers in the Iberian Peninsula. It starts in Castilla la Mancha, in Spain, and meets the sea in the Gulf of Cadiz. A good part of it marks the border between Portugal and Spain, as it is the case here. I was on the Portuguese border and the bank we see here is already in Spain. It's a really beautiful area, with many bird species and old water mills.
