Photographer's Note

If you read the Historie of the world and you look at the present world, you can conclude that a big percentage of the facts, buildings and art has happened or construct ‘in the name of a religion'.

At this image you see on the left side "padrao dos descobrimentos' a enormous artwork at the north bank of the river Tejo. This artwork commemorates the Portuguese Discoveries overseas. One of the main reasons to travel overseas was the will to expand 'the word of god'.
At the bg you see 'Cristo Rei'. This statue is standing high on the south bank of the river Tejo. Also this statue is build 'in the name of god'.
