Photographer's Note

This is a lucky shot, I was stucked in the traffic to cross the bridge when I decided to take a photo of the bridge, fortunatelly the traffic started to move and I took the photo while driving, having just time to disable the flash. The effects in the lights were made by the car movement.

Croped, and resized with Gimp.

Some more information on the bidge:
The bridge name is "Ponte 25 de Abril" (25th April, the day of the portuguese revolution that re-established the democracy) previously known as "Ponte Salazar" (Salazar was the name of the portuguese dictator that ordered the construction).
This is the oldest of the two bridges that connect Lisbon to the south edge of the river. More than half of the traffic comming from the south arrives at Lisbon by this brigde forming large queues of traffic every day.
