Photographer's Note

Rossio Square, Lisbon, otherwise known as Praça de Dom Pedro IV, though the locals still insist on calling it Rossio.

It has, of course, the iconic wave-pattern mosaic cobbles, laid originally in the 19th Century, and oft-photographed as a graphic image. I was intent on doing the same. But then I thought that a figure in the frame might make a more interesting composition, so I waited for someone to walk across my chosen patch. Thank you to this rather fetching pair of legs, whoever they belong to.
