Back to my serie of Lisbon pictures with that view of a typical street (Travessa Arrochela) in the Bairro Alto quarter of the city.
I liked the point of view on the Assembleia da Republica in the background.

Bonjour Stephane ,
Sur la vignette , le contraste semble trop fort , mais quand on l'ouvre , on découvre un excellent équilibre entre les zones dans l'ombre et les parties éclairées , notamment cette belle façade classique blanche .
Très jolie rue .

Bonjour Stéphane,
Le point de vue est excellent, et la grande profondeur de champ met bien en valeur la perspective de cette rue descendante, avec en point de mire le bâtiment de l'Assemblée, éclatant de blancheur et superbement éclairé. Une belle photo.

great colors and clarity and lovely light which makes the scene more cheerful. The POV for the picture is very well chosen and helps to achieve good depth and perspective. Superb focus.

Bonsoir Stéphane,

Bonne gestion des contrastes et belle perspective, le long de cette rue en pente, sur la façade d'un blanc immaculée, le drapeau portugais y figure en bonne place ! Par contre, dans la mesure du possible, j'aurais essayé d'effacer l'antenne râteau qui fait un peu tache.

A superb composition, which unites the charm of this Lisbon street, with the splendor and beauty of the building of the Assembly at the bottom, above the rooftops, I love the good management of light and shade in a photo at all easy.

Pas facile de gérer le fort contraste entre les zones d'ombre et de lumière mais tu as réussi à conserver quelques détails dans les ombres et donner de la profondeur à la photo de cette rue de Lisbonne.

Très chouette ce point de vue qui utilise bien les lignes de perspective formées par les deux côtés de la rue pour donner une impression de profondeur. J'aime bien l'alternance ombre / lumière qui donne beaucoup de relief à l'image.

C'est une photo merveilleuse de cet endroit-là qui est vraiment intéressant, charmant et beau!
La netteté, la gestion de la lumière (difficile), les couleurs obtenues, le format vertical, l'encadrement noir & blanc et surtout le pdv choisi et la compo sont excellents et m'ont plu beaucoup!

Hi Stephane,
Every time I have taken the tram or an elevator on my way up because they were so pretty but now I realized that I have missed view like this as I have never really walked these steep streets by feet.
Beautiful composition with the very attractive architecture in the very centre. The strong contrasts -I never liked them in the past but with age I tend to enjoy them -they are all natural and emphasize the well lit areas even more.
