Situated on the eastern city of Lisbon, the Gare do Oriente is one of the most important bus and railway stations in the capital of the country
Encompassing railway station, metro, easy access to major roads in the area and a large parking area, the project was designed as an intermodal station in support of Expo 98 but also with the aim of becoming the main interface city ​​transport.
The designer is the renowned Spanish architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava, which I ponder materials such as concrete, glass and steel.
Inserted in the center of the Park of Nations, often dubbed as the "Lisbon of the XXI century", the Gare do Oriente has an entire modern surroundings, with services, hotels, bars, entertainment, business and added value of the shopping mall Vasco da Gama.
