A fortified church with a Gothic style, it is the largest medieval cathedral in Portugal, its construction began in 1186, but was only completed in 1250 - It is a monument that exhibits the transition from Romanesque to Gothic style, with later Renaissance and Baroque additions - The main portico is one of the most impressive Portuguese Gothic portals, the interior is spread over three naves about 80 meters long - its terrace, is the highest place in the city from where you have a beautiful panorama over the whole city of Évora, one of the cities with the greatest historical importance in the country, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 - video of the place in:
