Hello Miro ,
A picture taken in february , but the superb lignt of the south seems to be taken in summer ! This is a splendid postcard of Algarve , this typical white house nicely decorated by the palm tree .

this excactly what I associate with Portugal.This kind of typical architecture,palm trees and sunny weather.Nice touch of summer in these cold,winter days(at least in Germany).This is Algarve from its most charming side.Well done!

Hello Miro,

Sony cameras are very well, I've formerly sony camera use and with excellent result.
I find this a very nice soft contrast between the lovely palmtree and the white house.
Sharpness and clarity are perfect.
Excellent composition, nice perspective and depth picture.

A strongly composed image, the white heritage house is so well lit up in warm light creating a fine impression against polarised deep blue sky, the best light quality nature has offered there! The beautiful palm indeed adds lot of strength turning this looks so very appealing. An obvious combination of contrasting colors is a delight that really draws attention. Yes the house looks so characteristically Portugese. The striking colours and the dominance of blue and white. I like the contrast and the way you composed the shot. There are some dust specks on the image,neasily cloned out - I am forever missing these too! :)

A lovely picture postcard image of this house the palm tree is very nicely placed in your photo.
I can tell by the lighting that it was a very warm day - what I do notice is that you captured a pussy cat in your image did you notice him...?

Hi Miro,

Your title caught my eye even before I even took a look at the photo. Being American, you can probably understand my initial thought of "Palm trees at the White House...I don't think they even exist in Washington D.C.??" :) This white house may be a lot smaller and less grandiose, but I like it none the less. The blue trim & sky, rustic roof tiles in contrast with the green palm make for a pleasing combination of colors. Nice and bright, looks like the simple life at some of its finest. Have a great day.
