On the River Formosa in Fuseta , a small fishing village about 30 minutes east of Faro . The River Formosa stretches from Faro to the Spanish border and is an an important nature reserve . The beaches the other side of the river and form a border against the sea. They stretch for miles and are wonderfull for swiming and sunbathing.
