Beijoz (read Bay-josh) is an ancient village in Central Portugal, its daily life is rapidily changing, but you still find a flavour of the traditional way of life.

Its a great looking face and including the sheep in the background puts him in context.I would though have preferred it were his hand not cropped off

This is almost a lovely shot, his face, the red rooves and sheep in the background--great, but i feel there is too much above him. If you had knelt down and shot the same it would be a classic. But great shot otherwise, very informative

Uma boa foto, com boa composição e nitidez. O fundo 'desfocado' deu destaque a figura do homem!
Esta pessoa tem bom rosto para fotos com ângulos 'apertados' se tiver oportunidade experimente!

Yes "not worried" - it's what most of Portugal is all about. The broken houses, the brown corn leaves, and a not worried sheepherd (including his closed, not working hands). In a photo you pictured a whole country (at least the interior, but this mood goes to the cities too). As a man's portrait, it's what I was expecting, i.e. nearly perfect. I just would like to see all the fingers of his right hand.
