The Pinhão landscape is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO - Pinhão is a village in the district of Vila Real, named after its location at the mouth of the Pinhão River, one of the tributaries of the river Douro - It is located in the heart of Alto Douro Vinhateiro, in the Douro Demarcated Region. in the Port wine route, where many of the main wine producing estates of Porto are located - It has the most beautiful railway station of the Douro line built during the nineteenth century, known for its tiles dated 1937, representative of the production of Port wine.
