Photographer's Note

Peso da Regua is a small town located at the douro river, in the province of Vila Real in northern Portugal. The area is famous for ist big wine Valleys and most of the area is a UNESCO world heritage site.

A little outside of Peso da Regua, on the wine hills you will find this kind of view very often. The area is perfect for wine. The douro river has carved steep hills on both sides, which are perfect for the cultivation of wine. Although the main use of this grapes is port wine, there are also "normal" wines from this region.
