Photographer's Note

This is another of my paper photos album which has been scanned and processed for TE. The quality of the original is not that good because it is quite old and the paper print did not stand the time so well due to the poor chemical clean during the original printing process. It dates September 1986 and was taken on a foggy morning in Santa Luzia Sanctuary in the northern Portuguese city of Viana do Castelo.

The photographer takes any photo you want and after he processes it on the spot, in the dark room which is part of the apparatus, together with the camera. During the post-processing he will add a background taken probably many years before. Usually, the back ground is a picture of the church.

Everything is finished in just a few minutes from the time he takes the photo to the final print in your hands. How much? I do not remember but the cost would be symbolic.

Note: The original photo was taken with a SLR camera FUJICA AX5 on Kodak film and printed on Kodak paper.
