Photographer's Note
My previous photo from Porto was almost monochrome. My family did not like it. “Why is it so yellow?”, they asked. It is quite ironic because I perceived Porto as an extremely colorful town. In a way that was the reason I really wanted to go there: because it is so beautifully colorful. Here I selected a view from a square which illustrates what I meant. You could actually spot this square in my previous photo but only if you knew where to look. I took about 20 photos with these houses, but I did not like any of them. I was too critical about the composition and perspective. That is why I didn’t post it before

Hello Mariusz,
Fantastic warm cold colour contrasts between the red and blue tones with good sharpness and nice repetition of the tables and chairs. Tfs!

Hello Mariusz,
A very nice capture of this square in Porto. It offers a particularly good view of the attractive houses and their different colours. The details stand out very well in the clear sunlight also.

Hi Mariuz,
It is a classic view from Porto. I remember this place well, but wasn't too satisfied of my photos of the square either. Wide angle is necessary and you made the right choice using it. Style of tables and chairs don't fit with background buildings, but it is very difficult to omit them.

Hello Mariusz,
The place is really colorful, looks as the Ribeira district waterfront to the river.
The chairs added much vivid tones to the different colors of facade on the background.
Good evening,
Ike
*** I tend to think nobody was reading the note about the picture you just gave a critique, missing the point that water flow uphill's on that spot of the aqueduct. Thanks anyway.

Hello Mariusz,
If you wanted to post a photograph that immediately cheered people up, this one could work!
The colourful seating area is so welcoming and we are tempted to just sit down in the sunshine and enjoy the ambience; but then, we are tempted to go and observe the colourfully painted houses in the b/g!
It's a very lively, cheerful setting!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

mariusz
your previous photo was just amazing.
this one is nice. curious the yellow cross in the façade and the carvings in the wall of the church at left. last time I visited porto was around 20 years ago. in some aspects I like more lisbon than porto, but my cousin thinks opposite.
take care

Hello Mariusz,
An extraordinarily colourful photo of Porto.
A picture that exudes a lot of charm and cosiness.
I think I took a picture of that row of houses too. The sight is very familiar to me.
But I don't think the square was full of seats when I was there.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Mariusz.
Full color in these facades of so picturesque houses, they look very old in this square, also full of colorful terraces, here there is great chromaticism.
A magnificent range of colors, in very attractive tones.
Good brightness and sharpness management.
Very well done. Love it.
Have a great day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Mariusz,
I like the colors of the buildings. Lines of chairs add a nice element of repetition.
