Photographer's Note

Tiles .. This art that developed in the Iberian Peninsula has been imported by the Moors during their occupation.
Today, Portugal's most famous panels are those inside the station of Porto, the Palace of the Marquis de Fronteira or small chapel São Lourenço in the province of Algarve. More modestly, simple panels are commonly used for religious performances or for signage. Finally, the tiles have their museum in Lisbon and workshops strive to continue adapting to modernity.
