In Portugal (I think in other countries too) it is forbidden to put umbrellas in front of the tents or shelters that are rented.
Well, that is what most people believe it's the law and it became the real practice. But it's just the desire of the people that receive money to rent the shelters. And often (or always) they put these signs. But, if you go to a Portuguese beach, don't care; there is no law to support these signs. Maybe that's why this of the photo is down :-)
