Photographer's Note
Serra da Estrela is the highest mountain in Portugal´s continental mainland (1993m), as the highest is Pico located in Azores archipelago. More than half of its area is located above an altitude of 700m and this particular place is located at around 1500m.
Serra da Estrela is also the source of the rivers Mondego, Zęzere and Alva. If we look closely we can discover many secret spots, including fantastic waterfalls.
I hope you enjoy!
PS: I apologise for the 500px larger side and watermark in the frame, but some unauthorized use has happened before in other websites (including mine). I know this spoils teh pleasure of seeing larger images andI truly apologise for that. Thanks for undersatnding.

Once again a perect equilibrium of movement and colours.
A fluid picture !
Eric /.

This is beautiful - I really like the contrast between the ice and the flowing water. I saw your article in 'Digital Photo' recently. You're work is very impressive and inspiration - I like your use of light and colour. I'm very keen on coastal photography and some of the locations you've visited look very interesting. I look forward to seeing more from you.

Beautiful. It is amazing how different one H20 can look even on a small 320x460 area. Lower left side is blurry from movement, in the middle it is frozen and in the upper left corner it is crystal clear and on the background it is something completely different.
I admire your ability to find such an interesting POV and come up with somrthing like this. Beautifully seen and captured.
