Photographer's Note

I never thought that my last post would get so much attention, so here you have another one shot some minutes after on the same place, in which I used much the same shooting and PP techniques.

At this time many of you already see me as a kind of geek obsessed with weird and complicated techniques. I hope that you believe me if I say I am not. This is just an experiment; technique only fascinates me as a mean to produce something pleasant to the eye, preferably keeping some realism; after all, cameras don't 'see' reality the same way we do, so in some more complicated situations one has to turn to some trickier techniques to photograph some subjects.

I don't value it much and maybe it was wiser not having post it, but I want to share with you my surprise for seeing a night shot that at first sight looks like having been shot with sunlight. I never thought it would turn out this way. Did I mentioned that I liked to respect realism? Well, I guess I am not that trustful, as there is no such clear light on the place, which is poorly lighted at night.

I admit the contradiction of not having tried to correct the barrel distortion effect of the lenses on an image that required some technical work to be produced, but I was a bit tired when I did the PP and now I am too lazy to remake it (I didn't save any high definition PP'ed version).
