Photographer's Note

It is located at the mouth of the Tua River, which flows into the Douro River, near the village of Foz Tua. And it was completed in 2017 - It is one of the most controversial dams in the history of Portugal, because its dam forced the closure and submersion of the first 16 kilometers of the Tua railway line, cutting off its connection to the rest of the national rail network and making a future unfeasible use.
