Photographer's Note

During the summer of 2005, my girlfriend and I went to the Peneda-Gerês National Park (for more info check this wikipedia link).

One of the "must see" places in this park are the cascades in Rio Homem ("Man River") where you can bath in the crystal clear ICE COLD water... yes, no matter how hot it is (it was 40ºC this day), the water is always very very cold... but it's worth it.

This POV required some daring climbing and many photos because I had no real good place to sit - I was hanging on the cliff - but I think it turned out nice...

PP consited in 50% unsharp + slightly darkening highlights + slightly lightening shadows + +5% saturation + framing
