Photographer's Note
Levada Ribeiro Frio, Madeira's taken are small canals to transport water from the mountains to other parts of the island, now these tracks are also used for hiking tours.
Ribeiro Frio is a place of Santana county, located in a place of great natural beauty, right in the heart of the Laurel Forest, a World Natural Heritage listed by UNESCO.
Along the trails you can find a variety of trees such as bay leaves, and perched on them, birds endemic to the region.
