Photographer's Note
The peninsula most eastern of the Island of the Wood, with 9 km of length and 2 km of width, includes two ilhéus (Ilhéu of Cevada and Ilhéu of Is Lourenço), was declared Natural Reserve in 1982 with the objectivo to preserve its fauna, flora and geologic inheritance. The vegetation of Is Lourenço is special and only, not for being still unchanged, but due to presence of important groups that virtually are confined to this area. This reserve, for beyond the vegetation, is the home of many species of birds, and even of some marine wolves that 0ccasionally are seen.

Hello Goncalo,
beautiful composition.I´ve been to Madeira 2008,but unfortunately didn´t manage to viysit this charming place.I like the vertical framing you used here,it shows us the size of these cliffs.Splendid, vivid colors and nice contrast between the blue of the sky and warm colors of the peninsula.Thank you for sharing this beautiful picture.
Have a nice weekend
Krzysztof
