Photographer's Note

Cabo Girão, Câmara de Lobos.

589 meters separate the Miradouro do Cabo Girão from these fields. The view is breathtaking and what make it even more spectacular are the colors that surround the view. The cliff is in fact composed of red rocks that contrast well with the vegetation and the nuanced colours of the ocean, ranging from turquoise to deep blue depending on the light of the moment.

From the belvedere, you can enjoy a 180 degree view. It has been cleverly designed to fit to all. It consists of two concentric terraces. In the center, the belvedere is higher of fifty centimeters to clear the view. Its central position allows people suffering from vertigo to still benefit a beautiful view without feeling too much the height. The outer terrace has been constructed above the vacuum and is made of iron grilles and glass windows.
