This landscape is very similar to the canarian one . With yellow oxalys on green terraces .
Your composition is good and the ravines seems to be very impressive .

Hi Geof, this reminded me of an earlier post of yours "terracing" and looking at it, I can see why. Both images work IMO although I like the inclusionof the flowers in the FG in this one. It creates quite a different feel which is also helped by the different lighting. cheers, steve

Hello Geof,
A simple but very appealing composition made all the more so by the very sympathetic ambient lighting conditions. I like how the eye is slowly taken from the foreground flowers across the terraces to the background mountains. A nice mix of subtle green tones and very good clarity complete a very nice image.

The rich, almost fluorescent greens and yellows in this landscape are extremely eye-catching, and very well captured. The little group of trees on top of the 'striped' hill makes an excellent focal point. Great use of the fleeting sun and shade to spotlight the centre of the scene.
Very impressive!
