Photographer's Note

The Wawel Cathedral is a Gothic basilica where for many centuries the Polish kings were coroned and buried. It contains many masterpieces in different styles: tombstones, kings's epitaphs, paintings, sculptures and stuccos. Very typical of the cathedral are some chapels in Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque style. One of the chapel's dome is entrely covered with gold.
