Photographer's Note

This is the abandoned factory of Oscar Schindler. This is where Schindler offered labour to the jews from Cracow's Kazimierz (jewish quarter) to keep them out of the nazi's hands and save them from deportation to the nearby concentration camps.

Spielberg's movie was shot in this actual location. It is abandoned since, but it is considered to make this a museum.

Normally, only Schindler's office is open to the public (although pretty hard to find), but an employee from a nearby factory sneaked us in here. It was an impressive place with a very depressive atmosfear, and it tells an even more impressive story.

I will place a second picture of the factory later on.
